ECOHUMANISM and “The Israeli Hope”,
Challenges and Opportunities of Education
in the 21st Century
EDUCATION WEBINAR + INTERACTIVE DISCUSSION 9-10.12.2020, HUMAN RIGHTS DAY
Dear Friends,
Tomorrow may seem partly unknown to us, but we can face it confidently. We believe in the impact of education and recognize its importance in all situations, including in times of crisis. We need to equip future generation with hope, belief and trust, and with understanding of their active role in shaping the future. Educators are trainers of future gardeners. For that, they need a great belief in growing opportunities, even in unpredictable circumstances. In order to plant a tree, you need to believe in growth.
The aim of this webinar is to bring together educators and researches from Finland and Israel and from different fields and levels of academia to discuss the challenges and opportunities of future education. Through humanistic value education, implementing innovative solutions and methods in teaching, we can create a secure learning environment, a balanced meeting point between humans, society, nature, history and the future.
I wish you all a meaningful seminar and fruitful conversations!
